Our lively bar features hundreds of Napa Valley and Italian wines, as well as seasonally inspired cocktails.
Our Bistro mornings begin with baking traditional, focaccia and ciabatta breads, handcrafting fresh semolina and egg pastas and forming traditional Neapolitan pizzas for the day ahead.
Guest favorites always grace the menu—Beet & Haricort Verts salad, Mama Concetta’s meatballs, crispy and succulent Chicken Diavolo, and our rich and savory seared salmon filet among them. Sprinkled in are daily and seasonal specials that provide a constantly changing menu for our guests to enjoy.

Al Fresco Dining
There is no better way to enjoy Napa Valley than outside in the fresh country air. Our gardens and vineyards surround us with fragrant aromas and beautiful vistas. Our lyrical Commedia dell’arte fountain is the centerpiece of our Italian parco and features the characters of a traditional 16th century Italian improvisational theater as they swing from poles and stilts, splashing playfully, sparking conversation and levity.
Locals know that winter is one of the very best times to visit the Napa Valley for the cozy warmth indoors and the dramatic skies outdoors. It’s also the best time to savor the braises and creations from the wood-burning oven.
Our enclosed terrace features a welcoming fireplace to create a special dining experience.
Our Fireside Terrace seats up to 50 guests. Completely enclosed and heated for winter, the French doors and garden windows are open to the Napa Valley throughout the summer.
We now offer a take out catering menu for groups of 10 or more, featuring many of our amazing dishes.
You will often find Giovanni and our managers enjoying conversation at our guests’ tables. This convivial attitude is infused in our service team that we consider the very best in the Valley.
Servers are friendly and courteous, attentive and efficient and always knowledgeable about our food and drink. And, because they are local professionals and not simply young kids passing through town, they “know” the Valley and can tell you what other places are worth a visit!

Giovanni — he welcomes you as family. The charming co-founder of Bistro Don Giovanni is the consummate host whose gracious personality enhances the Italian country atmosphere of the Bistro and who’s Mamma Concetta inspired the Neapolitan heart of the menu.
Scott Warner, Chef Partner
From 2002 to 2015, Scott served as Executive Chef at Bistro Don Giovanni and returned in 2018 as our new Chef Partner to lead our team of accomplished bakers and chefs yet again. Scott was inspired early on by his mother’s love of bringing together their community through a shared passion for European cuisines. Later, Scott traveled and immersed himself in European culture and cooking techniques, eventually fostering a unique talent for creating fresh takes on Italian and French country classics. While Scott does enjoy traveling and finding new recipes to expand his already impressive repertoire, he fell in love with the special energy and spirit of Napa Valley and decided to take the next step of his culinary journey here.
As the new Chef Partner, Scott is especially excited to work on Bistro Don Giovanni’s “big picture” — to not only engage, teach, and excite the people at both the front and the back of the house, but also to work closely with local farmers to truly connect with the land and the ingredients it has to offer. Bistro Don Giovanni embodies the exceptional spirit of the Napa Valley, and Scott looks forward to bringing together the community by keeping its menu fresh and exciting with these delicious local ingredients.
When away from the restaurant, Scott enjoys playing in his “chef band” for various local benefits that raise funds and awareness for meaningful causes. When in the restaurant, you can find the ever-personable Scott in the garden, in the kitchen, or table hopping in the dining room most every day of the week.
